The Pioneer is published 10 times per year, including July/August and December/January. It is delivered, free of charge, to every household in Puslinch Township.  It has been in continuous publication since July 1976, and is put together by a group of very dedicated, hard-working volunteers. It is THE vehicle in Puslinch for informative articles about our Township, Council Reports, Community Announcements and Events, local advertisements and all sorts of interesting present, future and historical items.  Our advertisers are our source of revenue, as well as occasional donors.

We are fortunate to have a vibrant Board of Directors, who meets each month to review past issues, discuss current ones, review and implement policy and guidelines with respect to the paper, and enjoy each other’s company.  We are also blessed with a dedicated large group of people who come together at the end of each month to collate 3000 newspapers by hand (in less than 2 hours!), and also enjoy each other’s company.  Not to mention our talented photographer, and all the terrific residents of Puslinch and beyond who send in articles on a one-time basis, or on a regular one.  All these people, and many more, keep the Pioneer going.
