Industry Canada has undertaken an extensive mapping exercise to determine the extent to which Canadians remain unserved or underserved with broadband access (minimum 1.5 Mbps). In order to verify the accuracy of its information, Industry Canada is asking individual Canadians to tell them about your Internet service.  They would also ask that individual Internet Service Providers (ISPs) participate.

Industry Canada has recently launched a website, “Broadband Internet Maps” (www.ic.gc.ca/broadbandmaps) that has a separate area for ISPs where you will find broadband coverage maps.  This username (BroadbandMaps) and password (bpmp2009) will give you access to the site, which includes instructions on how to provide feedback, which is requested by July 24th.
